When I began looking around for hair stylists for my wedding, Hanna and her team were recommended to me by the event coordinator at the venue I had chosen. I was planning my wedding from Calgary and was looking for someone I could trust and who could be flexible with the scheduling difficulties that came with the fact that I was living in Alberta. Hanna responded almost immediately to my inquiry and put my fears at ease. She was even okay with me scheduling my hair trial only 1 week before my wedding! Hanna and her team are very friendly, professional and hardworking. Hanna checked in on me quite frequently to make sure that I was okay and happy. It was a relief to not have to worry about my hair – I knew I was in good hands. The stylists for my wedding showed up at my hotel exactly when they were supposed to and had everyone ready on time. "Hair and makeup was one wedding vendor I definitely felt a bit nervous about selecting at first, especially since I was selecting them not only for myself, but for my wedding party and future mother in law as well. I saw Selah Vie set up at a local Bridal Show and got a good vibe from them right away. I didn't even do much shopping around. It just felt right! With the help of our wedding planning, we booked them. I felt comfortable with Hanna right away at my Bridal Trial. I went into the trial pretty laid back with very little experience having my hair and makeup professionally done and not much of an idea of what I wanted for my wedding day other than a few pictures I looked up online. Hanna was super patient and managed to figure out exactly the look I was going for after viewing the pictures I had and hearing about the wedding theme and feel we were going for. All I knew was that I wanted an elegant, classic look and she was able to
translate that perfectly.
When the big day arrived, Hanna and her team met us at the venue where we were getting ready. They were all set up and ready to go when we all arrived and presented themselves in an extremely organized and professional, yet fun, manner. Despite there being 9 of us to attend to, they finished with time to spare and without a single complaint or change requested from anyone in my party.......which is pretty impressive when it comes to girls and their hair and makeup! I couldn't have been happier with how my hair and makeup turned out as well, and Hanna was a gem as she helped me decide which jewelry and hairpiece to use. Whenever I'm asked by future brides about any wedding vendors that I used and recommend. Selah Vie is always at the top of the list!
